Tonight’s a crazy hopping night for shows in the Baltimore area. Over at the Ottobar Tokyo Police Club headlines with The Whigs and The Coast opening. Down at the Hexagon get some DJ action with Eliot Lipp, Daedelus, and Matthew Diamond. The Old 97′s play Sonar with Caleb Stine and the Brakemen and Desert Boys opening. If you’re in Fells Point be sure to swing by Fletcher’s to catch Wild Sweet Orange, New Age Outlaws, Armed Elephant, and Doug Ahern Band. Up at the Recher Theatre Margot & the Nuclear So & Sos play with Dear and the Headlights and Motion City Soundtrack. I told you that the beginning of the week was light on good events, but now begins the craziness. In DC there is White Rabbits at the Black Cat and These New Puritans at DC9. In Philly, the Kooks and The Morning Benders play the Fillmore while Rilo Kiley, Benji Hughes and Thao With The Get Down Stay Down are up at the Electric Factory.
