Local Natives get Remixed by Suckers, Brainbheats, Teen Daze, and possibly you

Local Natives have gone and done it now.  On the heels of releasing the great Gorilla Manor, they’ve stepped into the dark side and started a remix page.  You can download stems of tracks and post them here.  This seems to happen a lot and usually does not have too many quality remixes to show for it.  Not the case for Local Natives.  The Suckers remix I had heard previously, but these gems from Teen Daze (an artist we’ve posted on here) are outta sight.  Also another dude Brainbheats, whom we’ve also previously posted on, does a bang up job as well.  Check out a few right now:

New Suckers: Out On The Water [mp3]

On October 5th Brooklyn’s Suckers will release a new single for “It Gets Your Body Movin’” a stand out track from their debut self titled EP released this past April via IAMSOUND.  On this single they have this blissfully sweet track “Out On The Water”.  Yes it still has that Wolf Parade meets Yeasayer feel (Anand Wilder of Yeasayer actually produced the EP), but they really reminds of the Walkmen this go ’round.

New Suckers Video – Easy Chairs

Brooklyn’s Suckers have a new video for the track “Easy Chairs” from their debut EP just released on IAMSOUND Records.  The EP is fabulous and the video is a crazy psychedelic wonder directed by Chubbard and is almost as enjoyable as the song (the song is pretty darn awesome).  Buy the EP here and check the video now:

Suckers play the Black Cat in DC on June 3rd with Rock Plaza Central and the M Room in Philly on June 4th again with Rock Plaza Central and Strand of Oaks.
