A few weeks ago Midnight Juggernauts unveiled their first slice of new music with the single “This New Technology” (get it here via Acephale). Now they’ve backed that up with a handful of remixes for the single. I was pumped when I saw that Memory Tapes and The Juan Maclean were some of the contributors, but all in all each one is solid. Tonight DC’s Black Cat has The Teenagers, Team Robespierre, and (The Sounds Of) Kaliedescope. In Philly, Johnny Brenda’s has Midnight Juggernauts and Shy Child while the Khyber has Denton’s own Fishboy with Tina Dico, Jason Ager, and Milk.
There’s a solid line up of shows tonight in the area. In Baltimore, the Ottobar has The Teenagers, Team Robespierre, and Smart Growth. In DC the 9:30 club has Midnight Juggernauts and Shy Child while the Red and the Black has These modern Socks and Hydras. Finally in Philly, Johnny Brenda’s has El Perro Del Mar, Lykke Li, and Anna Ternheim.
