So tonight Lands & Peoples (album release), Spanish Prisoners, Dead Mellotron, and Fenster take over Baltimore’s Soft House (presented by PORTALS/me & BMORE MUSIC). I’ll be there. It’s my birthday. You should be there too. Good vibes are in store. Read more info or RSVP right here.

Last night at the Metro Gallery some seriously sweet vibes rained down on the audience courtesy of Phillip Seymour Hoffman, Holy Spirits, Mutual Benefit, and Lands & Peoples. Every single act lit it up BIG time. Before we get to a handful of photos, let me just say…look out for Lands & Peoples yalls. Now a duo, Caleb and Beau are creating on another level. So psyched to hear more of their new jams in the near future. And now:

Tomorrow there’s no place I’d rather be than the Metro Gallery here in Baltimore. Four bands/artists (Phillip Seymour Hoffman, Lands & Peoples, Holy Spirits, and Mutual Benefit) will perform that I’ve been waiting to see for a long while now. Sure, many of you will flock to the Cults and Guards show at the Ottobar (I’d be there too if this show wasn’t going on), but you’ll be missing out on a truly intimate and moving show. See you there?

The friendly folks over at Baltimore’s Friends Records just informed us of the new limited edition split tour cassette featuring Lands & Peoples and INEVERYROOM. There are only 30 copies of this thang and you can only pick ‘em up on tour. So if you see them, grab it damn it! And for all those who need a taste they’ve made a hypnotic tribal groove of a track by INEVERYROOM available to sample. Check it:

Also featured on the cassette are Winks, Zu Shapes, and Brian Adam Ant.

Our friends Friends Records is releasing their first compilation next month Friends and Friends of Friends (lotta friends right there) which features some exclusive tracks from the fab artists on their label as well as some of their friends music as well (who also happen to be friends of Friends Records). Besides the fact that this comp is so packed and feelin the friendly vibe, it also sounds GREAT. And its being offered as a free download (!!!!) here. Check out a few of the tracks that I can’t seem to stop playing:
mp3: Weekends – A Defining Love (acoustic)
mp3: Moss Of Aura – Generations

So in May Friends Records will be releasing this compilation on cassette and will be available on their website and at shows. More on that later…
