Helado Negro (Roberto Lange) has caught my ears smiling many times before, but never overtaken them like he has with “Dance Ghost”, a new track from his upcoming LP Invisible Life (out March 5th via Asthmatic Kitty). This album/song has Lange venturing into singing in English as well as putting together a slow foreboding and alluring jam (kind of reminds me of Loney Dear actually).
At the beginning of August Helado Negro (aka Roberto Lange) released his album Awe Owe via Asthmatic Kitty. If you’re looking for beauty in music, inspiration in life, and long for a soundtrack of South American 60s pop blended with a modern DJ attitude towards mixing and rhythm…then this is”the” album.
