Haunter, “a dreamy boy band from WI that cries often”, plays soft experimental folk that varies in sound over their new S/T release (out now for PWYW on bandcamp).  There’s 4 different members and each of them write the songs – so that accounts for the variety, but they generally stick to the same mood – quiet acoustic guitar driven tunes that drift into the melancholy often.  My favorite on the release is “Laura Palmer” which mainly reminds me of Baltimore’s Soft Cat – so I love it.
