Expwy – EP

Expwy EP

It’s somehow taken me a few months to post on Montreal based Expwy’s newest EP, EP.  That being said…I’m on it now.   The music fits way better with this torrid summer we seem to be in the midst of than the springtime of its release.  Matt LeGroulx continues his ability to blossom lo-fi rock that swoons like a hi-fi dream…this time with some added humidity.  Check a few:

mp3: Expwy – “Flourish with the French inside a holy ringer”

mp3: Expwy – “Split a hair above the summer sky”

Montreal’s Expwy is the music of Matt LeGroulx, a talented dude crafting robust yet lo-fi historic yet modern rock.  I hear a lot of classic oldies influence floating around in the clouds of Expwy, but LeGroulx keeps it intensely fresh and honest (in a similar way with White Birds/Drink Up Buttercup).  Check it:

mp3: Expwy - A Fatality About Shops?

mp3: Expwy - Park Row
