Damn. It’s so hard to find actual words to sum up how I feel about Future Islands‘ newest track “Balance” off the upcoming On The Water LP (out on Thrill Jockey October 11th). It takes the classic killer Future Islands vibe and fills it out even more. The electronics Gerrit Welmers weaves into the background of it are so so deep and lush…dammit just listen:
