HOV is the audio/visual collaboration of two Polish artists Piotr Matkowski and Jaga Slowinska. They have an EP in the works, but have given all a visual intro via “COCO”, a beautifully stuttered electronic trip melded with a collage of video footage. Check out more via The Fader and Decoder.

Beat Culture has just released his new dream cheetah video fro “Before You Go” a stand out track from the upcoming Tokyo Dreamer (out on Jan. 15th). The video was directed, shot and edited by Brendan Canty of Feel Good Lost.

Words can’t describe how I feel about Dustin Wong‘s upcoming Thrill Jockey LP Dreams Say, View, Create, Shadow Leads (pre-order that bad boy)…but I will…eventually. For now get taken aback by this visually chaotic/beautiful video for “Diagonally Talking Echo”:

So I am by no means a cinematographer, but the other day I stumbled upon some old family videos of a trip to the Oregon coast. Among the videos were some beautiful night shots on the beach where the camcorder’s auto-focus was having a difficult time. The result was pretty cool. As I watched them I couldn’t help but think of the sparse and beautiful melodies that fell on Ricky Eat Acid’s recent LP seeing little ghosts everywhere (get it here). So I did this:

There’s nothing more that can set you straight on a Friday than some life-in-reverse psyched out audio/visuals from Baltimore’s Sri Aurobindo. Friends Records asked me to premiere the fine video by Kat Sotelo of “No Coincidence” – the stellar b-side track from the Eyes 7″ (which you can pre-order here). Take a look:
