YES! For those who don’t know I’m a big RJD2 fan. I still recall the first time I glanced at the Deadringer CD on the rack….contemplating whether a disc with a bloodied up dude might actually sound decent. So I took a chance and he’s been making my ears happy for years. His last album The Third Hand was a bit of a departure for him – ditching the turn tables and samplers for a full band sound with him singing. I have to admit that it didn’t hit it off right away, but appreciated the experimentation. In January RJD2 will release a new album, The Colossus, on his new record label RJ’s Electrical Connections and it appears that he’s going back to his bread and butter for the most part as well as enlisting a few folks to collaborate.
